Mentor patients and caregivers
For patients still on their blood stem cell transplant journey, having someone by their side who’s gone through it can be a huge source of comfort. The NMDPSM Peer Connect program pairs patients and caregivers with volunteers who can help them as they navigate through the blood stem cell transplant process.
Patients or caregivers will be matched with a volunteer who is similar to themselves. The volunteer will provide support by:

Peer support volunteer positions are available nationally.
