Noah’s motivation to join

Noah joined the NMDP Registry after stumbling upon a heartfelt Reddit post from someone who had donated bone marrow. Intrigued by the story and its impact, Noah discussed it with his best friend, and they both decided to sign up for the registry in 2018.

Answering the call

Noah was called as a match three times and donated twice, with his first donation being bone marrow in 2020, followed by a PBSC donation in 2024. Each time, he showed remarkable courage and commitment, despite facing challenges like his mother contracting COVID-19 after his first donation. His experiences were marked by a mix of nerves and determination.

After his second donation, Noah received a letter from the recipient's wife, sharing the wonderful news that her husband was now leukemia-free. This letter not only brought joy to Noah but also inspired the recipient's family to join the registry. The ripple effect of Noah's donation continues to spread hope and kindness.

Getting the call, being in this chair right now and actually donating, it’s just a really beautiful thing and I’m so grateful to be a part of it.”
