Overview
The Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant and Regenerative Medicine Program is committed to outstanding clinical care, Translational Research and education in an effort to improve patient outcomes. We focus on a family centered care approach, which strives to build mutually beneficial relationships between the patient, family, and their providers.This center has been performing allogeneic transplants since 1986 and has been an NMDP transplant center since December 2015.

The social workers work closely with patients and families throughout the course of a patient's transplant care and provides:
* An initial assessment, including psychosocial and financial considerations. * Liaison activities between the patient and other entities, including state, federal and community organizations.
* Coordination of housing arrangements for the patient and family, in accordance with their financial limitations and other needs.

Children- Allogeneic and Autologous transplant recipients
- 1 year after transplant.
- Patients who were transplanted as a child at this center up to age 26
- Does accept patients who were transplanted at another hospital
- Will admit pediatric patients who transferred into the program if they are under age 26
- Will accept adult patients who were transplanted as a child at another center up to age 26
