Overview
The UC Davis Stem Cell Transplant program is a component of our NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and is accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapies (FACT). The team of physicians, advance practitioners (NP), nurses (OCN and BMTCN certified) and support staff are specially trained and dedicated to providing excellent care to our stem cell transplant and cellular therapy patients.This center has been performing allogeneic transplants since 1994 and has been an NMDP transplant center since January 2002.

Located on property donated by the UC Davis Medical Center, Kiwanis Family House is low-cost lodging for patients and their families while patients are undergoing treatment or hospitalization. (Patients must live greater than 35 miles from the hospital to qualify.) Kiwanis Family House offers 32 bedrooms, each with shower and bathroom facilities, four kitchens with dining areas for self-meal preparation, laundry room, children's game room and an outdoor play area. Families have free long distance phone and internet access and free shuttle bus transportation to and from the hospital, 24 hours a day. Parking is included and RV hook-ups are available. The UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center as has patient assistance funds based on grants and donations.
