Overview
Miami Cancer Institute is part of the Baptist Health South Florida network, one of the largest hospital networks in South Florida. The Blood and Marrow Transplant program of Miami Cancer Institute treats hematologic malignancies in both inpatient and outpatient state of the art facilities. Our unique approach using CD34 selected products offers a reduced risk of Graft versus Host disease post-transplant. Our program offers a holistic approach to transplant with our cancer support services including nutrition, psychological, social work, rehabilitation, and survivorship. Miami Cancer Institute began performing allogeneic transplants in July 2019 and became a member of the NMDP/Be the Match network in June 2020.This center has been performing allogeneic transplants since 2019 and has been an NMDP transplant center since June 2020.
