Overview
The BMT Program is committed to excellence in patient care, innovative clinical and translational research. The program is led by Stella Davies, MB, BS, PhD, with over 30 years experience with pediatric transplant. Our team is dedicated to a disease-specific approach to the management of patient care.This center has been performing allogeneic transplants since 1981 and has been an NMDP transplant center since January 1990.

Shuttle to area stores for shopping. Ronald McDonald House provides shuttle services to area stores and local events. Foundation assistance toward cost of transportation. Resource Needs: Meal cards for those families in need. Concierge Services, Family Resource Center, Chapel and Meditation rooms on site. Volunteer Services, Pet center. Bank ATMs available in hospital. Psychosocial Support Services: Social Work, Interpreter Services, Behavioral Medicine, International Coordination Services, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, Physical and Occupational Therapy, Child Life, Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute Therapy Dog, Holistic Health, Pastoral Care, Bereavement Coordinator. Other Support Services: Dragonfly Foundation provides welcome bags and ongoing support to boost comfort and care needs. Various external Foundations offer individual financial grants to those families that meet eligibility criteria. Collaboration with Cincinnati Zoo for private animal encounters for eligible patients and families. Caregiver Support Groups: Caregiver Connections-lunch provided twice a month.
