Overview
University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center is located on University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center campus. UH Seidman Cancer Center is a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), accredited by Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT), and NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center with nationally recognized faculty and physician scientists, state-of-the-art medical equipment and an uplifting patient-focused environment. Our program is a combined Adult and Pediatric program. We have affiliations with both the Children's Oncology Group (COG) and are a core center of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network (BMT CTN). Our center is an authorized center for Tecartus, Yescarta, Kymriah, Breyanzi, Carvykti, and Abecma Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR T-cell) Therapy.This center has been performing allogeneic transplants since 1976 and has been an NMDP transplant center since May 1991.

There are several options available to our patients and families/caregivers. Hotels: we do have several local hotels that are willing to provide our patients with discounted rates for the families and patients while undergoing treatment. Courtyard by Marriott: This facility is located across the street from Seidman Cancer Center. Long term stay discounts are granted to families/patients. Hope Lodge: affiliated with the American Cancer Society. This facility offers free housing for all patients, family members and the caregiver team. You must be 18 years and older to stay at Hope Lodge. The center consists of a library, activities, for all, private rooms, common area, and kitchen. Hope Lodge is steps away from the Seidman Cancer Center. There is a free shuttle available for transport Housing is arranged pre-transplant as needed for patients who live further than 60 minutes or are in need of special accommodations. The Transplant House of Cleveland has 15 fully furnished apartments that can be leased for a small fee. These apartments are within walking distance or shuttle service to the main hospital. Additionally, Ronald McDonald House offers free housing for applicable pediatric patients and families and is located within a few blocks of our center.Patient survival information for this center
