Overview
The Transplantation Program at UPMC Cancer Center offers comprehensive Adult SCT services, including autologous/syngeneic peripheral blood transplants, allogeneic peripheral blood, and bone marrow transplants from HLA-matched or partially HLA-mismatched related or unrelated donors. In addition, CAR-T therapy is offered as a treatment option for some types of lymphoma and leukemia.This center has been performing allogeneic transplants since 1985 and has been an NMDP transplant center since July 1987.

The Long Term follow-up and Chronic GVHD Clinic at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center provides long term care for stem cell transplant survivors, and works to coordinate care in conjunction with the transplant physician, specialists, and primary care physician. Long term care plans that follow guidelines for surveillance, preventive care, and ancillary therapies are developed and provided to the patient, caregivers, and medical team.

Adults- Allogeneic and Autologous transplant recipients
- Adults: 6 months after transplant.
- Adults (over age 18)
- Will provide care to adult patients who underwent transplant as a child
- Does accept patients who were transplanted at another hospital
